Tenant Connect Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tenant Connect, a platform designed to enhance community engagement within apartment buildings by allowing tenants to connect, list services, and communicate with property management. By accessing or using our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.

Platform': The Tenant Connect website and mobile applications.
User' or 'Tenant': Any individual residing in a participating property who accesses or uses the platform.
Property Management': The entity or individual responsible for managing the apartment building.
Services': The functionalities provided by the platform, including tenant interactions, service listings, and community discussions.
Service fee': A non-refundable annual fee charged to tenants for using the platform, determined by property management and subject to an annual increase3. Eligibility
To use the platform, you must: Be a resident of a registered property. Be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate information during registration.
4. User Responsibilities
Tenants must: Use the platform responsibly and lawfully. Refrain from posting false, misleading, or offensive content. Respect other users and avoid harassment, discrimination, or fraudulent activities. Promptly pay any required service fees to maintain access.
5. Property Management Responsibilities
Property management must: Verify the residency of tenants using the platform. Monitor interactions and enforce community standards. Provide assistance to users regarding platform-related issues. Notify tenants in advance of any changes to service fees.
6. Privacy and Data Use
Tenant Connect collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without user consent unless required by law.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from: Engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or misleading activities. Posting or sharing offensive, discriminatory, or harassing content. Using the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes. Circumventing service fees or platform security measures.
8. Termination of Access
Tenant Connect reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access if terms are violated. Property management can request a user’s access be revoked if necessary. No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts due to violations.
9. Amendments
Tenant Connect may update these terms periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the property is located.

12. Account Deletion

14. Service Interruptions
Tenant Connect may experience occasional service interruptions due to maintenance or unforeseen issues. Users will be notified of scheduled downtimes when possible.
15. Refund Policy
All service fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may apply in cases of billing errors or service disruptions exceeding 30 days.
16. Tenant Disputes
Tenant Connect does not mediate disputes between users. Users are encouraged to resolve conflicts respectfully and seek property management assistance when necessary.
17. Advertisement and Promotions
Tenant Connect may display advertisements or promotions from third parties. Users are responsible for evaluating the legitimacy of any external offers or services.
